The Technology Lab

If your group is smaller, and you would like to offer hands-on computer training, perhaps the SLDL Technology Lab is suited for your needs.  The Tech Lab offers one teacher station and six personal computers, loaded with current applications such as Microsoft Office XP and Microsoft Publisher 2003, as well as high-speed internet access.  The Interactive Smartboard is an ideal teaching tool, acting both as a 60" digital whiteboard and as a large touchscreen monitor.  The Tech Lab offers a color printer and a digital scanner, as well.

The Local History Room

If your group or club wishes a comfortable, more secluded setting, the Local History Room is a good place to meet.  Sit at the beautiful conference room table and enjoy the photographs and displays of historic Spring Lake around you.  The Local History Room offers seating for ten, although we can always get you more chairs, a large marker board for brainstorming ideas, and (for a fee) the ability to make conference calls.

Study Rooms

SLDL also has two quiet individual study rooms for doing homework, researching topics, or conducting smaller one-on-one meetings.  These are not reserved in advance and are available on a first come, first served basis.
