Bike Policy

 To promote the safety of all people using the library, bikes must be placed in the bike rack upon arrival at the library.  Bikes must not be left on the sidewalks or in the library building.

 Beginning September 1, 2004, bikes left unattended and not in the rack may be locked to the rack by library staff.  Upon request by a bike owner the library staff will unlock the bike lock.  A fine of $.50 will be assessed before a bike will be unlocked by library staff.  

The Library Board strongly recommends that all bike owners lock their bikes.
