It’s a Jungle Out There - Escape at the Library Summer Reading Club for Adults June 12 – August 5, 2006

 Sign up at the Check Out Desk to join and receive your Reading Club wallet card.  You’ll then receive a free gift just for signing up: your choice of a Monet mug, mini flashlight, or decorative magnet.  (This offer is good only while supplies last.) 

Read books or unabridged audio books checked out from Spring Lake District Library.  Materials from the Adult or Teen sections of the library are eligible.  Books of any format over 400 pages may count as two books.  Audio books containing nine cassettes or CDs will also count as two books.  Participants may choose two eBooks or mp3 audio books, or audio books downloaded from www.sllib.org per card.

 Each wallet card has five spaces for stamps.  Each time you return a book to the desk, ask a staff member to stamp your card.  Books must be checked out, read, and returned between June 12 and August 5. The last day to get your card stamped is Saturday, August 5, 2006.

When you have completed five books you may turn in the card for a prize and one entry in the Grand Prize Drawing.           

You may continue reading for more prizes if you read more books.  Ask for additional wallet cards.  No one may earn more than 15 prizes.  Of the 15 prizes you may earn, no more than 8 may be mugs.

The prize choices for five books read include an ice cream coupon from The Front Porch,  video coupon book, nylon neck wallet, sun visor, wildlife mug, or summer special book bag.

The Grand Prizes are a tea set which includes a tea pot, four mugs, and cozy fleece blanket, and five $20 gift certificates from either The Bookman or Barnes & Noble bookstores.

 The Grand Prize Drawings will be held on Monday, August 7, 2006 – you need not be present to win.
